Alright - so I've been feeling pretty sorry for myself b/c i caught a gnarly flu with the added bonus of....the runs.
Right now I'm watching that movie with Ethan Hawke about those south american guys who's plane crashed into the Andes Mountains and had to eat each other to survive. Right now they are on day 50 and have survived 2 avalanches. Correction - they've been watching each other die one by one. There must be a dozen or so of them left.

I'm annoyed b/c i cant eat solids for a few days - meanwhile they are having to snack on their dead friends just to stay alive and they have no guarantee of survival. In fact - 50 days out I figure anyone that thought about looking for them pretty much gave up at that point.

So - I guess I'm fine. Its a true story after all - about these guys...oh God - there was a dead guy in the plane cabin they have been staying in and they didn't even notice. Okay - I'm not going to give a play-by-play.

So its a great movie for perspective, isn't it?!? You can always say to yourself "at least i'm not stranded in the snowy Andes Mountains eating pieces of freeze-dried human flesh of people that I know".
