What have I been up to....hmm??
Got back, remodeled my room in this new bizarre house in Echo Park - my new barrio - and when I say barrio I mean barrrrrio! Awesome view, totally new part of town for me. Interesting place to be at this point in time.
Bob Fern and I paddle boating in the Echo Park Lake across the street from home.
Went to several Hollywood Bowl shows. Many many.
Went to SF to visit Tammie and a Chilean cousin of Maggie Edward's that I became friends with at Maggie's awesome wedding in Rio.
Finished with a GRE prep course so I can take it, get a good score, and apply to USC Real Estate Development school which, when accepted, I will begin in June of '07 and finish May of '08. Madness.
About to play golf tomorrow. I enjoy it, and hate it, which is apparently just like most golfer's relationships with the game. I'm the tensest golfer out there I think. There isn't one damn thing thats relaxing about it. Our teacher (I say our because Bob and Fern are also taking it) is Jeff Barber. He's AWESOME. We all are big fans of his. By 9AM on a saturday he is already taking his last puff on his morning stogie - and he sometimes holds the lifeless butt of the cigar while teaching us. He gambles with other golfers incessantly, cusses and tells dirty jokes and old anecdotes about famous golfers. He is a gentleman and a complete punkass n'er do well. He's Jeff Barber - grandson of the famous Little Jerry Barber. He's rad.
Trying to use my 5 years as being an office jockey to modernize/streamline etc the family business. Its not easy - AT ALL. Tell you what though, its certainly fun and at times very rewarding, albeit madenning and chaotic.
Did the annual trip to Oktoberfest in Big Bear. Rad as usual.
Just got back from a fantastic trip with Mike to see Mayumi in NYC. Got some bangs.
