The deed is done...I've joined the normal

So I bought the most purple of the permanent hair dyes that I could find. I figured if I was going to let go of the blue, I might as well make it less shocking by switching to a dark eggplant type color. Well guess what? I managed somehow to unwittingly dye my hair to an incredibly natural color. Wonderful. You can only see the hint of a touch of suggestion of purple if you hold it up strand by strand in the light. Basically, my hair just looks dark. The rest of my head is my natural brown though.
I am now blueless. Its fine, actually. Just plain old normal. Not a big shocker. I think I'll get used to it very quickly.
Here are some pics of the Rio de la Plata from the other day. The conditions for sailing must've been great because there were so many boats out. I wanted so much to be on one...sigh.

I'm very disappointed that this photo came out blurry, it would've been so perfect. Damn.

This pic is for the girls, sadly its not super high-res so your view upon clicking shouldn't be much improved, but you get the gist. Argentine polo players...mama mia.

dammit... argentines are fine!
I guess it really is just a log of what i've done and my knee-jerk reactions to what i experience. I suppose I've come to treat this blog as more of something for others, rather than myself. It could be that I shy away from any kind of deeper commentary about how I'm affected b/c I know that others are going to read this and I worry about sounding a) cheesy b) stupid c) pretentious.
However I'm sure I'll do some kind of retrospective once this trip is over...kind of a Doogie Hauser or Jerry Springer-like look back on the whole thing. What I've learned, how I've changed etc...
